Extra Christmas Fun and Laughs & Gags
Having fun and sharing laughs with your family on the Christmas holiday are priceless and the memories are timeless as they are shared again throughout the years.
There are many ways to bring out the extra laughs during the holiday season, gag gifts can be harmless and a lot of fun when done correctly. I’ve used many in past years, some have worked well and others not so much.
It is important to be creative, especially if you’re like me and a suspect right off the bat. For instance last Christmas I purchased some fake money but knew if I gave it to the kids at our family Christmas gathering they would catch it right away. My solution came in the form of my mother, who agreed to purchase cards for all the grand kids and put the fake money in them from Grandma and Grandpa.
This approach worked like a charm, there was a lot of excitement when the kids saw those thousand dollar bills that Grandma and Grandpa gave them towards college.
The fun lasted much longer than if I would have done it, that’s why it’s important to be creative with your Christmas fun.
Another Christmas gag can work really well is fake lottery tickets; I not only got my family but friends and co-workers also. It cost a few extra bucks for it to be most effective but is well worth it, you’ll never get everyone with this one but you’ll have plenty of laughs with the ones you do.
The best way to pull off the Christmas fake lottery ticket gag is to put the fake one in an envelope with a few real lottery tickets. Try your best to get close to the same size and color and place the fake one in the back. It is really priceless when you tell them to turn is over to see how to collect the money and they find out they need to submit it to Santa Claus in the North Pole.
Another good one is for the special person who always asks for the moon when they are asked what they want for Christmas. You can go the extra mile this year and give them a 38 foot yacht this year as a Christmas Gift.
While it can add a lot Christmas fun and laughs to your holiday this year, please do your best to keep it in the spirit of the holiday without any harm to anyone.
