Christmas Lump of Coal
A lump of coal is a long standing tradition to give to a naughty child at Christmas. Now even though we all would like to have perfect kids it’s not usually the case. At some point throughout the year they were indeed naughty, some more than others.
A few years ago just for fun I started adding a single lump of coal to each of our children’s stockings, the reaction was priceless. But I soon realized that even though I had placed the coal in plastic and wrapped it the kids still had it out before days end.
Even though I enjoyed the fun I was not fond of the kids getting their hands on coal. So for the next year I did some searching and found candy coal that worked just as good without the possible problems, you can even make your own lump of coal candy.
I heard you have been naughty not nice,
And Santa even checked his list twice.
So all the way from the cold North Pole
all you're getting is a bag of coal.
